El Shaddai Dominion Ministries Has been supporting youth and families through our Back To School Drives.

We give relief to parents during the Back to School process.

Angel Johnson

GPA 2.9

Attended:

Cristo Rey High School, Columbus, OH

 Angel has been a very active in several activism committees and other organizations while at Cristo Rey. Her sophomore year, she organized and hosted a lunch and learn on systemic racism. She is currently the director of activism for JSA (Junior State of America) and has been since her junior year.

She also co-created a club, along with fellow classmates, “Melanated and Educated" during her junior year. She participated in several peaceful protests as well that year. She is currently a committee leader of student life for the yearbook committee. Angel will be attending Tuskegee University in the Fall and will be majoring in Finance. 

Asia Baker

Attended:

Cardinal Mooney High School, Youngstown, OH

Miss Asia Synay Baker, born April 16, 2004 to Minister Patricie Gandy-Baker and Charles H. Baker.

She is a lifelong member of the Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church under the tutelage of Elder

Joseph D. Heard Sr. Pastor. 

She will be attending Eastern Gateway Community College in the fall to become a Veterinary Technician. “Being a veterinary technician would be like a nurse but for animals. I'll be able to care for animals and shower them with love” she says. “If I had to choose one million dollars or one million puppies, I'd choose the puppies. Because my love for animals will never go away.” 

One of her favorite bible verses is Matthew 19:22 which reads; Jesus looked at them and said,

“With man this is impossible, but with God

all things are possible!”

Augusta McGee

GPA 3.471

Attended:

Walnut Ridge High School, Columbus, OH

Augusta originates from Liberia, Monrovia .

She will be attending Wright State University, to study criminology.

Augusta was accepted into 18 colleges receiving the 3,500-dream big scholarship and the $500 glass scholarship. 

Victwhon Nixon

GPA 3.83

Victwhon Nixon will be attending North Carolina State College, pursuing Mechanic Engineering.  He played football and holds the position of Senior Class Vice President

Billie Craig

GPA 3.6

Attended:

East High School, Youngstown, OH

While attending East High School Billie participated in sports, school

activities, as well as becoming the

2022 senior class president.

After graduation, she has plans to attend Eastern Gateway Community College where she will be able to obtain her real estate license over the summer months while striving for a degree thereafter at a university. 

Jordan Daniels

GPA 3.1

Attended:

Jordan Daniels will be graduate with his high school diploma along with his Associates Degree in General Studies from

Lorain Community College.

He will attend Lorain community college for

a second Associates Degree and 

plans to study business.

Jordan lives in Lorain Ohio, and in his spare time, he loves to attend his home church  in Youngstown Cornerstone Ministries where his grandpa Roger Smith is the pastor.

Melvin Douglas Scott, Jr.

GPA 3.129

Attended:

Whitehall Yearling High School

Melvin Douglas Scott Jr., will be

attending Ohio University this fall. 

He was the junior varsity and varsity

quarterback of his high school football

team as well as a member of the

2021-2022 varsity basketball team.

In addition to sports, he is interested in entrepreneurship and will study

business at the collegiate level.

Melvin will be the recipient of the

Ohio Excellence Scholarship. 

Yasmin Moore

GPA 3.7

Attended:

Streetsboro High School

Yasmin attended Maplewood Career Center for Cosmetology through her home school, Streetsboro High School and maintained a 3.7 GPA while working two jobs working at Dunkin Donuts and Facet Salon.

Being a hairstylist is something Yasmin

enjoys. Her dream is to own her 

own salon and be successful. 

She will attend The University of Akron and

plans to major in Accounting as her

favorite subject is math.

She credits her success  to her family's belief in her. She believed in herself and most importantly,

God brought her through!

Cierra Harris

GPA 3.71

Cierra Harris attends Post University online in Waterbury, Connecticut majoring in legal

studies with a 3.71 GPA.

She plans to receive her Bachelor's Of Science Degree in legal studies. In Addition, she plans to attend The University of Akron School of law  to become a lawyer specializing in family law. 

Markeysha Dozier

GPA 3.0

Markeysha considers maintaining a 3.0+

GPA during high school as her

biggest accomplishment.

She plans to attend Wilberforce University to obtain Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology to pursue her dream of becoming a Psychiatrist.

It has been a journey to get to the place

where she is today and she considers

herself more than blessed to receive all the

opportunities  presented to her.

Myosha Thompson

GPA 3.2

Attended:

Walnut Ridge High School, Columbus, OH

Upon graduation, Myosha will attend Columbus State Community College to study Automotive Technology. After college graduation, she plans to relocate to Japan to work in the Automotive Industry. 

Jevon W. Beshara

GPA 3.2

Attended:

Mineral Ridge High School, Mineral Ridge, OH

Jevon Weston Beshara is the son of Matthew

and Christine Snipes.  

He has been a member of the Varsity football team for four years. He received the Newcomer Of The Year Award in 2018 and lettered.  In addition, he participated in track and field and played saxophone in the school band

where he also lettered.  

Jevon is a member of Agape Assembly in Warren, Ohio where he serves as the sound room engineer.  He is a member of the Beta club and plans to attend Youngstown State University to earn

a degree in Forensic Science.

Tyrin Howell

GPA 3.0

Attended:

Cardinal Mooney High School, Youngstown, OH

Tyrin Howell has been selected by the University of Findlay for continuous education in the

field of Exercise Science.
